The restaurant La Rocchetta has been created close to the ancient medieval walls of the village.
Renovated for the first time in the late 60’s, the main hall was maintained and the intention was to deliberately give it a private home at the entrance where we find a living room in the center of which is located one of the three 17th stone fireplaces. On the walls we can observe a series of decorated dishes that represent the coats of arms of ancient families of Piacenza.
What instead, in ancient times was the “rural stable” that housed the animals that worked the land, has become a more collected room in which plays a role of particular set design, once 15th century.
A historical and fascinating place, where history and art evoke an atmosphere of the past, which lends itself well to every occasion and occasion.
The kitchen, which proposes dishes based on meat and sea fish, enhances the flavors and aromas of the seasons by characterizing the different menus.
